I've been a satisfied customer of Verizon 5G Home Internet for a while now, but I don't use Verizon for my cell phone service, even though doing so would give me a 50% discount on my home internet service. by doing so on my home internet service. It would seem that with this kind of savings it would make sense to bundle both of those

services together. Well here are the three reasons that I don't use Verizon for my cell phone service even

though I use them for my home internet service. The first reason is that I actually save more money

by using Mint Mobile for my cell phone service than I would with Verizon, even with the discount

So I pay $20 a month for Mint Mobile. That, along with my Verizon 5G home internet

equals $70 a month. If I were to switch to Verizon, I'd have to go on their $65 a month plan

in order to get the discount. Now it means $65 plus $25 for my home internet

with a discount which would make that a month So I saving a month by using Mint Mobile Now I know that the Verizon plan is an unlimited data plan

whereas my Mint Mobile plan has limits. But I don't mind that it's limited

In fact, I just prefer not to pay for unlimited data if I'm not going to use it. So for me, it makes more financial sense

Now, if you use a ton of data, Verizon might make more sense

And Verizon has some pretty good family plans. So if you have like three or four people on the plan

it might make more sense to go with Verizon. And they have some other perks like maybe better international coverage

and stuff like that. But for me, I save money by using Mint Mobile every month

want to put all of my eggs in one basket I like having a different company and a different infrastructure for my cell phone than for my home internet For my home internet those use Verizon 5G towers and for my cell phone

I have Mint Mobile, and that uses the T-Mobile towers. And I like having two different companies

on those. So if one has a problem, or if there's some natural disaster or something that affects

one, I'll still have the other. Now, the third reason why I don't want to use Verizon for my

cell phone service is that their account setup user experience was not great when I signed up

for their 5G home internet. I mean, I got it done. It did work in the end. But if you watch my other

videos, you'll see that I went through a lot of trouble to get signed up and to get the discounts

and billing working correctly. I just don't have a lot of faith in their back-end database

and computer systems and website and app. And I also just read that they laid off a bunch

but it didn inspire a lot of confidence in how Verizon is running their business with respect to customer service Now I still with them for home internet

It just runs. So that's fine, and I'm okay with that. I just don't want to put more of my eggs into the Verizon basket after what I'm seeing and how they're running their company

Their app is really easy to use. It was really easy to set up an account and it's just been night and day compared to

basically just financial reasons. Mint Mobile saves me more money, and I don't want to put all my eggs
