Hey, this is Brian from disablemycable.com
0:02
Today I want to talk about streaming services because there are so many streaming services out there
0:08
People are asking me all the time which ones to get. There's Sling, Philo, Paramount Plus, Fubo TV, Hulu, YouTube TV
0:19
Peacock, and so many others. And people want to know where to get the best deals
0:26
So you could either go to everyone's websites and try to figure out all the costs and see which ones have the channels you want
0:34
But there's a better way. I've teamed up with a company called suppose.tv
0:39
to bring you a free tool on my website. No sign up required. Just go on there
0:48
enter the channels that you want and it tells you which streaming services
0:53
offer those channels and the costs. So you can compare and find the best service for you
1:02
There's no sign-up as necessary. It's completely free. Just go on the website at disablemycable.com
1:10
So let's jump on there right now and I'll show you how it works
1:14
Okay, I'm at disablemycable.com. What you do is click the streaming services link
1:23
then click the big button that says streaming service finder And I have a link to this page in the comments below so you can jump right to this page
1:34
So this takes me to the streaming service finder. Scroll down and you'll see the start here pointing to the left column and that's kind of where all the action is going to be
1:44
What you're going to do here is click on the channels you want and it'll tell you which streaming services offer those
1:50
services offer those channels. So let's do a little experiment here. Let's say I want the history channel
2:00
Okay, right away, a bunch of services showed up. And the one to the left is usually the cheapest one
2:07
So I can see the best fit is a service called Friendly, which I've never even heard of
2:12
and that gets me the history channel for $7 a month. Okay, not bad
2:17
Let's say I need something else, though. Let's say I want some entertainment channels
2:26
So let's expand this to show more. And let's say I want AMC
2:32
Okay. So history in AMC, it's telling me in this left column
2:38
Philo is the best deal that has both of them at $25 a month
2:43
Not too bad. I like Philo a lot. So let keep going though Let say we need ESPN okay That takes me up to Sling Orange for a month
3:02
So also not bad. It's getting a little bit expensive, but it's still cheaper than cable
3:09
And if you want to remove that, you can click this X and it goes back to where you were, but let's keep ESPN there
3:17
Let's add in, let's add in one more. Let's say we didn't want to search this list
3:24
You can also just type in channels here. So type in CNN, click on that
3:30
And I'm still on the sling orange for 35. So you can kind of see how it works
3:36
Let's make it more interesting though by typing in some local channels like ABC. Okay
3:45
Okay, so I've typed in ABC. in ABC here and it's on my left column. It's still saying Sling is the best fit, but really
3:53
actually the ABC logo is missing from the Sling column, which means it doesn't really give me Sling
3:59
The next best deal is actually DISH at $60 a month. And even more expensive is YouTube TV at $72 a month
4:12
Let add one more CVS Okay yeah so it telling me DISH really or YouTube TV So that a month and this a month NBC Okay yeah again DISH
4:26
So what you can see here is that as I start adding these local network stations
4:32
it starts to get as expensive as cable or basically cable is almost a better deal
4:38
than some of the streaming services like YouTube TV. So what you want to do there is if you want to do there is if you want
4:45
these local channels really try to use a broadcast TV antenna to get those for free
4:52
And my website's all about that, disable mycable.com, just go on there
4:56
I talk about indoor antennas and outdoor antennas and how to get those channels for free
5:02
If you live in a big city or near a big city, you should be able to get most of those
5:07
network channels for free using an antenna. And that really is the way to go
5:12
And this shows you clearly that these local channels really add cost quickly
5:18
So you can play around with this tool. I hope you enjoy it
5:23
I hope you find it helpful. It's kind of fun to click around this left column and just see how much everything costs
5:30
But like I said, if you can get rid of these local stations, your costs can really go down a lot
5:39
So I hope this was helpful. check it out on my site, Disablemycable.com
5:44
And thanks a lot for listening
