Folks said that speed and reliability would suffer on 5G-based home internet services as more people signed up. Here's what happened to me 90 days after getting Verizon 5G Home Internet. *** UPDATE ***: Passthrough mode on the Verizon Gateway does work now! To plug in an external Wi-Fi router, plug it into the LAN2 port of the gateway and enable passthrough mode on the gateway.
